A few weeks ago my 4yr old daughter was having her swimming lesson where she banged her face on the side of the pool causing her tooth to cut her lip. She was crying and distressed and the lifeguard handed her to me to comfort her, no first aid was offered, no one checked to make sure she was ok and no accident paperwork completed.I have had cause to raise an issue with the pool over something else and this was mentioned. The manager has written in an email that I refused all first aid and left the premises immediately so no paperwork could be completed. This is a blatant lie as I was sorting my daughter out by side of the pool, stopping the bleeding as well as getting her changed so could easily have been approached for details and a welfare check.The most disappointing thing about this is that while they refuse to accept they need to improve their first aid facilities and training they will continue to offer a poor service in case of a accident which is frightening considering they have such young children attending lessons and around water.

I've visited the Leisure Centre once a week for nearly twenty years to play badminton. Staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. Courts are clean and non-slip. Only critism is that the staff haven't the faintest idea how to string a badminton net between the posts correctly. Male changing rooms are clean but they can get very hot. Over the years have brought my daughters here to swim and to use the wave pool and slides. They always enjoyed their visits.
Went on a rainy Sunday so pool busy. Wave pool good. We had sessions on that day as very busy. Changing rooms ok. But looked for showers in changing area to shower grandchildren before getting dressed. There were none. Only few showers by pool. Hairdryer 20p per go. Lockers 1 which you get back. Experience was food but facilities lacking.
Dirty, smelly changing facilities. The smell of urine can sometimes be very overpowering. Some days worse than others. However the staff do seem friendly and the pools are of good size. But the cleaning of the facilities definitely need improving
