Cheap rental but the room was very hot, no hot water for 2 days
A lovely little pub with great food. They've stopped doing carveries because they're going to be changing hands in the coming months, but they have a good menu otherwise and it's well cooked - unless you choose the hot rocks option, where you cook it yourself.Rooms are basic but en-suite. They provide towels but - bizarrely - not soap!Altogether a cosy little pub with very friendly and capable staff. Well worth a visit.
Excellent food. Efficient staff .Value for money. Have been a few times and always been pleased.
The hot rock steaks are not only tasty are great value. A couple can both have substantial meals (albeit with soft drinks) for less than 20.00. There is normally only a couple of members of staff working but they ensure the service is quick and needs are met.
