Small but interesting and includes an audio guide for the canal walk. Sells ice cream etc. On a nice summer day it's a lovely day out.

A nice combination of gift shop, museum & cafe would recomend calling in when visiting Stoke Bruan
A really nice pleasant afternoon out at Stoke Bruerne canal museum,we enjoyed a pleasant ride on the narrow boat "Charlie", the Skipper and his mate were very polite and informative with their information. There are at least four good places to eat at sensible prices. Suggest people try out this good experience. The parking has been vastly improved and is well worth the 2.50 for its close proximity to the museum.
Great place to stop and have a coffee whilst enjoying watching the canal boats go past. Cafe is very welcoming. Whilst their coffee selecting is limited, and card transactions must be over 5, it's very accommodating for everyone with disabled access and toilets. It's also fun to watch the lock keeper drain and open the locks to boats passing through.
